Description & Atmosphere
We can't tell you how many times we passed by the Flying Fish Grill on our way to the beach or Main Street in Half Moon Bay. Every time we said the same thing — "we must try that place sometime." Wish we hadn't waited so long!

Flying Fish Grill is a great little find and a perfect place to stop for brunch, lunch or dinner after working up an appetite walking along the beach. Its festive casual island atmosphere makes us feel as if we're back in the Caribbean.

Food
Specialty Appetizers include the Crabby Cheese Bread — what could be better than garlic cheese bread topped with fresh crab... yum!! It's delicious and not too filling, so it doesn't spoil your appetite for the rest of the meal. Clam Chowder is popular with locals and visitors alike. Incredible Fish Tacos... Ditto the Fish & Chips.

We also recommend the seafood wrapps (big and flavorful). The Pacific Wrapp is one of our favorites — grilled salmon, avocado, ginger slaw, herb rice, scallions, sesame seeds and soy-wasabi sauce in a spinach tortilla — it's pretty big, so go with an appetite!

Flying Fish Grill offers indoor and outdoor seating in a casual setting. We prefer eating outside under the straw umbrella tables, especially during warmer weather. Every time we've eaten here it's been a full house — can't beat good food at reasonable prices :)
