Yountville
— Charming Weekend Getaway

Yountville is one of our favorite places to stay when visiting Napa Valley. Conveniently located just one hour northeast of San Francisco (off Hwy 29), the historic town of Yountville is a charming place to get away from it all, relax, and have FUN!

Founded in 1855 by George C. Yount, Yountville (originally named Sebastopol), was given its present name in Yount's honor in 1866. Today, Yountville is one of Napa Valley's most popular destinations — perfect for a Romantic Getaway Weekend, a fun Wine-Tasting Vacation, a relaxing Spa Getaway or a Corporate Retreat. For its size, there's no other place in the world that competes with its fabulous gourmet restaurants and premium wineries.

Wine, Art & Culture
One of the things that we love most about Yountville is that everything is within easy walking distance, so you don't need to drive anywhere. It's home to quaint B&Bs, fabulous inns and resorts, luxurious spas, tasting rooms, specialty shops and galleries, and incredible gourmet restaurants. Enjoy wine-tasting during the day and a nice bottle of wine with dinner and don't worry about driving... just leave your car at your hotel.

Harvest Season or "Crush"
Napa Valley Wine Country is beautiful year-round. However, the most interesting time to visit the area is during the Harvest Season, or "Crush" (when the grapes are picked) — late Summer into Fall (August-October).
Note: The Harvest Season can vary.
