On March 22, 2010, VSS Enterprise — a spaceship designed to carry fare-paying pioneers on a journey to the stars — completed its first "captive carry" flight from Mojave Air and Spaceport. The program will continue thru' 2010 and 2011, progressing from captive carry to independent glide... then on to powered flight, before commercial flights begin.
