Please say it ain’t so! We’re know we’re not alone in thinking that Joe’s Cable Car Restaurant in San Francisco has one of the best hamburgers in the city. Even Guy Fieri (from the Food Network TV Show “Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives” raved about their burgers. But all good things must come to an end and so it is for Joe’s Cable Car Restaurant. After 45+ years,  owner Joe is retiring and the popular Mission District restaurant is closing its doors on March 16, 2014.

So If you want to get your Joe’s hamburger fix – or if you’ve never had one of Joe’s juicy hamburgers and want to try one before it’s too late, now’s the time to do it. f you’re like us, you’ll savor every bite! By the way, burgers are available in three sizes (4oz, 6oz and 8oz) – the one I’m stuffing my face with (pictured above) is the “small” 4oz size. Mmmm mmmm good!
