Skywalk Grand Canyon opened on March 28, 2007. This fun attraction is located at Grand Canyon West Rim on the Hualapai Indian Reservation.

Glass Skywalk

Step out onto a glass-floored, 70-ft long open-air Observation Deck that juts out 4,000 feet above the canyon floor and the Colorado River. Before venturing out from the canyon’s rim onto the transparent U-shaped 3-inch-thick glass platform, visitors must slip on special non-scuff, non-slip booties. Build to withstand hurricanes and earthquakes, the Skywalk is sure to become one of the most fun and visited attractions in Arizona.

The Skywalk Cafe will offer outdoor patio and rooftop seating on the edge of the canyon. Private indoor and outdoor facilities for meetings, special events and weddings will also be available.

Don’t forget to add an amazing Skywalk Tour to your plans if you are visiting the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas or Phoenix this year.

Note: Because the West Rim is located much closer to Las Vegas than the South Rim, most of the tours originate from Las Vegas. However, some tours depart from Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona and Los Angeles, so be sure to check departure locations when booking your Grand Canyon and Grand Canyon Skywalk Tours.

The Grand Canyon is located about 120 miles east of Las Vegas, so it makes a great day trip!
