Don’t miss this exciting match between the USA and England on Saturday, June 12 at 11:30am PST. You can watch the game at home on your new HDTV, or if you are in the SF Bay Area, you can go to the FREE event at AT&T Park in San Francisco that day.
It’s the first competitive meeting between the U.S. and England since the 1-0 American upset in the first round of the 1950 World Cup, so it’s sure to be a very exciting game. England, the country that invented soccer and has one of the top pro
leagues in the world, hasn’t won the Cup since 1966.
In celebration of the opening round of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, AT&T Park and Visa are hosting a FREE public viewing event. The Visa FIFA World Cup™ Viewing Event will take place at AT&T Park on Saturday, June 12. The gates will open at 10am with kickoff of the USA vs. England match at 11:30am.
The World Cup action will be shown LIVE on the ballpark’s HD centerfield scoreboard as well as on TVs throughout the ballpark. FREE admission. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
After the game, guests are invited to visit the Giants County Fair at McCovey Cove outside the ball park. The Giants County Fair features over 20 carnival rides, midway games, music and food. General admission is also FREE.
