White Sand Beach “Wave Pool”
The beautiful Mandalay Bay Resort and its 11-acre tropical sand-and-surf beach and three exotic pools will have you believing that you’re in the Caribbean. What better way to relax and enjoy the day. Body surf at Mandalay Bay’s Wave Pool. The waves can go up to 12-feet high, although they’re usually only two-three feet. Service is first-class. If you want to order a tropical drink, just raise the flag on your beach chair! Note: You must be 48″ to swim in the Wave Pool. Beach is open daily. Registered hotel guests must show their room key. Non-guests can access the pool complex Monday-Thursday with an admission fee.
Private Beach Cabanas
Rent a Private Beach Cabana for up to 6 people and indulge in a relaxing poolside massage. Cabanas feature a cushioned love seat, 3 deck lounge chairs, table and chairs, a 46″ LCD flat screen TV, a fridge stocked with drinks, a personal safe, and a cooling ceiling fan. Premium Beach Bungalows, located on the beach below Moorea Beach Club, are also available to rent.
Poolside Dining
Enjoy casual pool-side dining at the Beach Bar & Grill. Grab a beer, glass of wine or a cocktail at one of three bars, including the Bikini Bar. Food and drinks can also be delivered to your cabana.
Lazy River
Float down Mandalay Bay’s quarter-mile Lazy River on a giant inner tube, or just take a dip to cool off. It’s one of the resort’s most popular family-friendly attractions.
Lazy River Cabanas
Rent a Lazy River Cabana for up to 5 people. Amenities include a dining table and chairs, cushioned love seat, 2 deck lounge chairs, fridge stocked with drinks, a personal safe, a 42″ LCD TV and a ceiling fan. Additional cabanas are also located at Mandalay Bay’s West Lagoon and East Lagoon.
Shark Reef Aquarium
Wait til you see how close you can get to the Sharks, with their menacing teeth and actually see them eye-to-eye – it’s amazing! The Glass Tunnel is surrounded by 11 different species of Sharks, ranging in size from a 1.5-ft Baby Zebra Shark to a 12-ft Nurse Shark. The Shark Reef also contains more than 75 other species of Tropical and Fresh Water Fish, Moray Eels, Stingrays and Jellyfish. Reptiles include rare Golden Crocodiles. There are only 12 in the world and the Shark Reef has three.
Dive with the Sharks
