The Petit Palace is also known as the City of Paris Museum of Fine Arts. The museum, and its magnificent courtyard and garden, is located between Champs-Elysées and Les Invalides. Collections include paintings and sculptures from the Middle Ages, Renaissance period, and the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Masterpieces from the Petit Palace include works by Paul Cézanne, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Theodore Gericault, Edgar Degas… to name a few. The art museum also houses a significant collection of decorative murals.
