Pantheon - Rome
This architectural wonder is one of Rome’s most visited attractions. The Pantheon, with its massive dome and center oculus, dates back to 128 A.D. Converted into a church in 609 A.D. (which it remains today), it’s one of the best preserved monuments of ancient Rome. The Pantheon contains tombs of poets, Renaissance artists Raphael, Baldassare Peruzzi and Baroque master Annibale Carracci – and the first King of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II. Have fun exploring the Pantheon at your own pace or take a guided tour and learn about its architecture and rich history.
