If you like romance, a leisurely pace, charming small towns, Fusion cuisine, spur-of-the-moment fun, then Maui is the perfect destination. Visit Kaanapali’s beaches and historic Lahaina. If you like to snorkel, Napili Bay is fantastic for snorkeling and swimming. And if you really want to splurge, stay at Wailea, home to some of Maui’s finest resorts, white sandy beaches, world-class golf courses, and exclusive shopping.
If you have an extra day or two, take a leisurely drive along the scenic “Road to Hana.” The narrow winding highway runs along the North Shore of Maui, through its mountains and valleys. Spectacular waterfalls and incredible views of Hana’s picturesque shoreline and tropical rainforests can be seen along the way. Allow at least three hours for the 52-mile drive from Kahului to the quaint little town of Hana. The trip can be made in one day, however, we recommend an overnight stay in Hana. It was one of the highlights of our first trip to Maui.

During your visit to Kauai, be sure to visit the picturesque Waimea Canyon. It was dubbed “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by Mark Twain. Take an exhilarating Helicopter Ride over the canyon. The views are spectacular!

Other Hawaiian Islands
Lanai
Enjoy snorkeling and diving on this beautiful scenic Hawaiian Island. If you like golf, Lanai has two championship golf courses. Both courses consistently rank among the best in the world.
Molokai
Also known as the “Friendly Isle,” Molokai is one of the most natural and least developed of the main Hawaiian islands. This is ideal if you want to relax – there’s no traffic, no traffic lights and little nightlife. Enjoy Molokai’s beautiful secluded beaches, horseback riding, hiking and nature walks.
Niihau and Kahoolawe
Niihau is the smallest of the inhabited Hawaiian Islands. Also known as the “Forbidden Isle” – the island is off-limits to all but relatives of the island’s owners. Kahoolawe is the smallest of the 8 main volcanic islands. Don’t plan on a visit or a vacation here. It is completely uninhabited and is off-limits to visitors.

The Best Time To Visit Hawaii
Hawaii’s temperate climate, averaging 80° year-round, makes it a great time to visit anytime of the year. Peak season runs mid-December thru’ March and July-August. The Holiday Season is especially busy.
Whale-watching season is January-May. Spring and Fall (low season) offer the best value, best weather and less crowds. Hurricane season is usually from June-November.
