The Best Time To Visit Charleston, Hilton Head Island and Myrtle Beach

The best time to visit Charleston is Spring (March-May) when temperatures are mild. This is also the peak season, so expect crowds. Alternatively, Fall-early Winter (September-November) is a good time weather-wise. It has lower humidity and it’s less crowded.

Hilton Head Island is a year-round destination. During Spring (April-May) and Fall (September-October) temperatures are mild and it’s a little less crowded. Summer is peak season and beaches are packed. Hurricane season runs June-November.

The best time to visit Myrtle Beach is during Summer months (June-August). It’s also peak season. Off-season runs from late Fall to early Spring.
