Opened in 1879, the Victorian-style conservatory is the oldest in the nation. Today, San Francisco’s historic landmark is one of the most popular attractions in Golden Gate Park. The Conservatory of Flowers displays over 1,750 species of rare exotic tropical plants and flowers from all over the world – Palms, Bromeliads, Water Lilies, Carnivorous plants – and one of the largest public collections of Orchids.
