The Best Time To Visit Orlando and Walt Disney World
December–April is the best time to visit Orlando. You can count on beautiful weather and lots of fun activities. It’s also peak travel season, so expect big crowds. Summers can be humid and rainy. Hurricane season typically runs from June-November.
The busiest times of the year to visit Walt Disney World are during holiday periods, school breaks, summer vacation, and weekends year-round. The least crowded times are during January and February – and just after school starts, in early September through mid-November. We’ve visited several times: Once during January for a special birthday and it was perfect – no crowds and mild weather (it rained once). The second time was during Easter Spring break. It was very crowded, long lines and hot temperatures.
