Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco
The Palace of Fine Arts was originally built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific exhibition. Today, the scenic peaceful setting is one of our favorite go-to places to visit, picnic, take a casual stroll, relax and enjoy the view. With its domed Greco-Roman style Rotunda, majestic columns, and swan-filled pond, it’s no surprise that it’s one of the most photographed sites in San Francisco. It’s especially popular for wedding pictures. We’ve seen more brides here than anywhere in the city!
See concerts and special events throughout the year at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater. The buildings and grounds can also be rented for corporate meetings, trade shows, and weddings. The Palace of Fine Arts is located on Baker Street, in San Francisco’s Marina district, close to the Golden Gate Bridge.
