Bad news for SF Bay crab-lovers… looks like Dungeness Crab Season will be delayed this year. Due to the recent oil spill in San Francisco Bay, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has halted all fishing and crabbing until December 1st. Not to worry…there will be crab available from the Pacific Northwest in time for Thanksgiving. We’ll keep you updated. Exciting news for Crab Lovers! Thursday, November 15th is the official opening of Dungeness Crab Season in the San Francisco Bay Area. Make Reservations for a weekend Crab Dinner or plan a Crab Sunday Brunch on the 18th. If you are in the SF Bay Area, this is a good reason to stop by Fisherman’s Wharf, Half Moon Bay (Princeton by the Sea) or Jack London Square (Oakland) and dine on some fresh crab.
