A Charming Weekend Getaway

Carmel-by-the-Sea - Beautiful white sand beach, Carmel, California

Carmel
Carmel-by-the-Sea is one of our favorite (and romantic) Bay Area Getaways. Renowned for its picturesque white-sandy beach and beautiful cypress trees, Carmel also has a myriad of cozy inns, quaint specialty shops, upscale art galleries, fine jewelry stores, gourmet restaurants — and some of the best golf courses in the world.

The nearby Monterey Peninsula is world-famous for its stunning coastline and
unparalleled scenic views — it's
no wonder that visitors flock here from around the world.

Carmel Valley Wine-Tasting
Enjoy a fun day of wine-tasting in Carmel Valley's Wine Country — a world-class wine and grape-growing region.

Special Occasion Getaway
Carmel is a fun place to come
for a Romantic Valentine's Day Getaway, a long weekend, or to celebrate a special occasion — Alana had her Bachelorette Party here, followed by a reunion seven years later.

When To Visit Carmel
Its year-round temperate climate makes Carmel a great place to visit anytime of the year. Note that mornings can be foggy, especially during summer months. Dress in layers. FYI...it rarely rains between April and October.

The Lone Cypress - legendary Lone Cypress Tree along the famous 17-Mile Drive, Monterey Coast, California

Scenic 17-Mile Drive
If you're planning your first visit to Carmel (or nearby Monterey), be sure to take the world-famous 17-Mile Drive — its scenic "coastal" route hugs the rocky coastline between Carmel and Pacific Grove — offering visitors some of the best views on the planet.
