San Francisco Pride Celebration – June 24-25, 2023
San Francisco’s annual LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) Pride Parade & Celebration is held annually (usually on the last weekend of June). It’s one of the largest gatherings of the LGBTQ community in the world. The celebration draws over 500,000 visitors every year. Don’t miss this fun, colorful event – you sure can’t beat the people-watching.
The fun Celebration takes place at the Civic Center and includes live entertainment on 10+ stages, fun arts & crafts booths, gourmet food, wine and beer.
SF Pride 2023 – “Looking Back And Moving Forward”
SF Pride returns to San Francisco for its 53rd year on June 24th and 25th. Last year’s theme was “Love Will Keep Us Together.” Pride’s 40th Anniversary took place in June 2010. It’s theme was “40 & Fabulous!” Pride’s 50th Anniversary, due to take place in June 2020, was canceled due to the Covid pandemic.
SF Pride Parade
SF Pride Parade takes place on Sunday (the second day of the celebration), starting at approximately 10:30am. Parade starts at Market & Beale and proceeds west on Market Street to the Celebration at Civic Center. Arrive early for good viewing as it gets very crowded. This is a FUN San Francisco event.
Grandstand Seating
Grandstand Seating is available, located on the north side of Market Street, between 7th and 8th Streets. Entrance to the seating area is on the western edge of the Grandstands, nearest 8th St. Note: The first two rows are reserved for those with accessibility needs, with a section reserved for wheelchair access.
