Just go where the locals go and you usually can’t go wrong. We could tell by the crowds every time we passed by, that this small casual-style diner was the “talk of Broadway.” Located around the corner from the Century 20 Theaters, it’s a convenient spot for a casual-style breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner before or after catching a movie.
Description, Atmosphere & Food
Decor is pretty basic, but there’s nothing basic about their food — it’s very good. Combine that with friendly service, hearty portions and reasonable prices and it’s easy to see why this place is such a popular haunt among locals, families and visitors alike. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious Eggs Benedict. We really like their Eggs Florentine (two poached eggs with perfectly-sauteed spinach) piled atop an English muffin, topped with a deliciously light hollandaise sauce, served with fresh fruit or potatoes. Other breakfast standouts include Egg Scrambles and Specials, Omelets, Oatmeal, Pancakes, Fresh Crepes… and a Special Kids Breakfast and Lunch.
Lunch and Dinner Specials feature classic Fish & Chips, Spaghetti, Grilled Chicken Teriyaki, Grilled Skirt Steak, Chicken Quesadilla and Fish Tacos…), plus big juicy Hamburgers and thick Milkshakes, Fresh Salads, and a huge selection of Sandwiches. Sides include French Fries, Truffle Fries, Garlic Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Chili Cheese Fries, Coleslaw and Mac & Cheese.
Our bet is that you’ll leave here feeling full and satisfied… with a smile on your face 🙂
