Radio City Christmas Spectacular Show
It’s well worth a trip to New York City just to see the fabulous Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The fun Holiday musical includes our all-time favorite Rockettes’ performance – the “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers.” Be sure to book well in advance. It is very popular with locals and tourists alike. The Christmas Show usually runs mid-November to the end of December.
During the Holiday Season (Oct-Dec), the live animals that appear in the Christmas Spectacular’s Nativity scene – including camels and donkeys – are taken outside and walked around the block (Rockefeller Center) daily at 7am. Even if you’re not an early riser, you may want to check this out. Be sure to have your cell phones and cameras ready so that you don’t miss any candid shots.
Top of the Rock Observation Deck
New York City is one of the most romantic cities in the world. If you’re looking for a memorable place to “Pop the Question,” consider the Top of the Rock during sunset or after dark, under the twinkling stars. The views of the city from 70 stories above Rockefeller Plaza are absolutely breathtaking. It’s a perfect place to propose.

Note: If you’re in NYC after Thanksgiving, come here to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree & Lighting Ceremony. It usually takes place the Wednesday after Thanksgiving and remains lit through the first week of January.
